PM Narendra Modi to Visit Israel on 25–26 February 2026

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day state visit to Israel from 25–26 February 2026 at the invitation of his “dear friend,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a statement released by Press Information Bureau (PIB Delhi).

In his departure statement issued on Tuesday morning, the Prime Minister emphasized the strong and multi-dimensional strategic partnership between India and Israel, highlighting significant progress and dynamism in recent years.

Focus on Strategic and Bilateral Cooperation

During the visit, PM Modi will hold extensive discussions with PM Netanyahu aimed at further strengthening cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including:

1. Science and Technology

2. Innovation

3. Agriculture

4. Water Management

5. Defense and Security

6. Trade and Investment

7. People-to-People Ties

Both leaders are also expected to exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The India-Israel partnership has grown substantially over the years, expanding beyond defense cooperation to include technology-driven innovation, start-up collaboration, and agricultural advancements.

Meeting with President Isaac Herzog

As part of the state visit, Prime Minister Modi will also meet Israeli President Isaac Herzog to discuss bilateral cooperation and shared democratic values.

Address to the Knesset

In a historic moment, PM Modi will become the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament. The address is expected to underline the strong parliamentary and democratic bonds between the two nations.

Interaction with Indian Diaspora

During his visit, PM Modi will also interact with members of the Indian diaspora in Israel. The Indian community has played an important role in strengthening cultural and economic ties between the two countries.
